For years, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom billed itself as "the Thrill Park," and backed its boast with screaming roller coasters like Chang and Thunder Run. The adrenalin rush is still there, but this season, some of the best thrills may be on stage.
If you know a lot about things with wings or beasts that prowl and growl, the Louisville Zoo wants you. The zoo, at 1100 Trevilian Way, is enlisting new recruits for its army of docents and plans orientation sessions July 9 and 11.
